Coming Up!

Janet will be posing for us tomorrow night at Read All Over Books.

We're taking a break for August, so July 25th will be the last session until Sept. 5th. Hope to see you there.

Musey

Thanks, to all of you for coming last night. We missed some of our regulars but you were all in our thoughts.  Thanks also, to K.C., for such beautiful, graceful poses and being the first to try out the new chaise!

A few musicians with the band LITTLE TYBEE, dropped in to draw with us. They had a gig at the Otter House last night and then were on their way to Toronto and Montreal to perform.

Brock Scott was nice enough to leave us with a CD of their great music. We'll listen to it as we draw next week. In the meantime, here's something to listen to while you look at the drawings from last night. Thank you Brock and Sara for joining us ... and for the music!

Here's Brock Scott with the band LITTLE TYBEE singing "Signal Below".

Janet will be posing for us on Monday, July 25th. Hope to see you there.

We'll be taking the month of August off at Read All Over. Ed King will be stepping in with Saturday Drawing Sessions at Germanna. Linda will be posing on Saturday, August 6th at Germanna.

Wow!

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did last night!

Artists, friends, family and patrons came out to support the Figure Drawing Group of Fredericksburg. It was a GREAT turnout, and a beautiful night ... just wonderful.

Our sincere thanks, to the library staff, Margaret, Maggie, Janet and volunteers for pulling everything together at the last minute.

Most of all, our thanks to all who came to see the show, share a glass of wine with the artists and purchase our work. It's that kind of support from the community of artists and the Fredericksburg community at large that makes it all so rewarding.

K.C. will be posing for us on Monday, July 18th, at Read All Over Books on the new chaise!

Hope to see you all there!

The Figure Drawing Group of Fredericksburg

We all hope to see you at the reception for the Group Show on Saturday, July 16th from 6 - 8 pm. It should be a beautiful evening, so stop by for a glass of wine and support our artists!

Hot Daze

Last night, we got out of the heat to draw Linda in a silk turban. It's interesting how a small addition can dramatically change the mood or add so much interest to a drawing.

Thanks all, for coming out to draw, and our thanks to Linda, who always inspires us.

Saturday, July 16th, is the reception for the Figure Drawing Group Show, at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library, from 6-8pm. Hope to see you there!

Monday, July 18th, Janet will be posing for us at Read All Over Books - on our new chaise!
