A great evening, upstairs, in Read All Over Books. Thanks to all who attended last night and to our always perfect model, Linda. 

Come draw with us in a relaxed atmosphere, to great music and wonderful artists and models. It's just drawing on your own, nobody looking over your shoulder and all skill levels are welcome. So, bring your own support board and supplies and join us!

It was a great night of drawing in our new space, upstairs at Read All Over! Thank you, to all of the very talented artists who joined us for the evening and to our beautiful model, Janet. I'll to try to fill in a few gaps ... like a bench for our model and a way to light our drawings while we work.


Thank you, also, to Paul Cymrot, for his kindness, openness and help in providing the artists with a great place to draw.

A Place to Call Our Own!

We've found a home at "Read All Over Books" 307 William Street. The session will take place every Tuesday night from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Make sure you arrive early, by 6:45 to allow time to set up. Access to the upstairs will be restricted once the session starts at 7:00. Can't wait to see everyone in this new space!

It was another relaxing, low-key, evening of drawing. Thank you, to all who came to draw. Thanks also, to our new model, Janet, who did an amazing job. Her poses were wonderful, which resulted in some amazing drawings from our very talented artists!

Our model for next week, September 21st (see note), will be Linda, who will pose unclothed. I look forward to seeing you all then.


NOTE: We're changing "Uninstructed Figure Drawing" from Wednesday to Tuesday evenings, starting next week, to accommodate everyone's new Fall schedule's. Same time, same place (for the time being).
ANOTHER NOTE: We're starting an Artist's Guild! with plans for a place for classes, workshops, (gentle) group critiques and, of course, Figure Drawing! Anyone interested in sharing the work or, just sharing your ideas, please email me at jsishii@mac.com ...

As for our next session ... After everyone returns from their travels, including myself, we will all be back at my place on Wednesday, Sept.15th. We'll welcome a new model, Janet, who will pose for us unclothed. The session runs from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Arrive a little early to get set up and bring your own supplies. The cost is $15.00 and $10.00 for students with I.D.
