Summer Sketching

A quiet night for Memorial Day and the unofficial beginning of Summer! There were a few of us, closing out the long Memorial Day weekend by drawing. Thank you, to those who came to draw last night and our (always) great model, Felix. We feel very fortunate to have such wonderful models as part of our "drawing" family.


A reminder that Ronald Jackson has a show opening at Liberty Town Arts Workshop. The opening reception is (First) Friday June 3rd, from 5 pm -9 pm. Please try to see his wonderful work during the month of June.


We will be drawing Janet, unclothed, on Monday, June 6th at Read All Over Books. The door is locked at 7 pm, to protect our models, so get there early!

Just a reminder that our next Figure Drawing Session will be Monday, May 30th at Read All Over Books. Felix will be posing, unclothed, from
7-9:30 pm. Arrive before 7 as access will be blocked to protect the model.

What a great night! It was a good turnout and we all seemed to be in that perfect place where great work just happens. Thank you K.C., for your beautiful, graceful poses.

We will be drawing K.C. again, in her tutu, in the Library Auditorium this Thursday, May 26. We can start earlier, at 6:00. We have to be out of the library by 9:00.


Figure Drawing will be at Read All Over Books, every Monday night from 6:45 - 9:30. Felix will be posing for us, unclothed, on May 30th. Join us!

A Magnificent Monday

It's a beautiful Spring, despite the occasional thunderstorm, a perfect 70 degrees and there's new life everywhere. It's a great time to get outside for some painting and drawing. So, that's exactly what we did! We drew a perfect model, talked about art and listened to music. Thank you Janet, for giving us such beautiful and challenging poses. We always need to push ourselves!


Everyone needs to check out a wonderful blog by an artist's model ... museworthy. It's filled with art, music and insight. Thanks Bruce, for finding that one for us.

Celebrating Our First Year!
