Hoping for Hopper

Julie found a stash of art books tonight and we had a great time wrestling over books. Actually, I think I wrestled the Edward Hopper book out of the pile and Julie was just being polite. Julie, you can borrow the book whenever you like.

Linda posed for us this session and she is always perfect. Thank you all, for a great evening of drawing and chatting about art. Monday's are the best!


Join us at the Library for the next session, Wednesday, March 9, 2011. K.C. will be posing in her tutu. The session will be starting a little earlier, 6:00 - 8:30. Submit your work from these sessions for the Figure Show at the Library in July. The submission deadline is June 1st.

Very Therapeutic

A lovely night of drawing. Thank you K.C., for stepping in at the last minute to create such beautiful poses for us. It was a good showing of artists and a great night of drawing.

Wow!

Artists welcomed a new model last night and it was a wonderful evening for everyone. Our thanks to Felix, the ideal artist's model. Each of his poses were perfection and he even brought his own props!

Upcoming Sessions

We moved our session to Tuesday this week for Valentine's Day. Felix will be posing, unclothed, for us on Tuesday, February 15th. After this week, all of the sessions will be Monday nights. Janet will pose, unclothed, on February 21st and Linda will pose, unclothed, on February 28th. Hope to see you there!

Saturday's Session

We met to paint and draw K.C. for the Figure Drawing show at the library in July. A great way to spend a Saturday morning. Thanks to everyone for coming and to K.C. for her amazing patience and perfect poses.

$12 of Fabulous!

 K.C. started the evening in a slip/dress that I purchased for her at a flea market over the weekend. It fit her so perfectly and we enjoyed drawing her in it so much - she never made it into her tutu. 


Thank you, to all who attended and to K.C. who poses perfectly and is so accommodating with us and our crazy requests.


Join us on Saturday, February 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a "wet" session at Germanna. We'll be painting K.C. in her tutu, or perhaps, that dress again.
We'll be drawing at Read All Over Books on Tuesday, February 15th from 6:45 to 9:30 p.m.. We'll welcome a new model, Felix, who will pose unclothed.
